I’ve worn many hats in my life –interior designer, artist, art teacher, dance teacher, English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher, writer, and counselor. This multi-faceted career path has instilled a deep understanding of people and their wants, needs, and desires. My diverse background has ensured a caring, compassionate, and nonjudgmental style, with a strong foundation of carefully listening to the issues and working with you to succeed in your therapy goals. Do I have your attention? Would you like to know how I can help you?
Choosing a therapist is a very important! Although I’ve stayed true to my artist soul, I’ve also always been fascinated by the human mind. My multi-career background has provided many opportunities to understand people and their motivations. My artistic philosophy is complemented by my honest, “let’s meet this head-on” approach.
Let’s face it, in these days of stress and uncertainty, it’s easy to become overwhelmed with emotions and relationships. Life events can cause emotional distress and can cause difficulty at work, at home, and within you. The emotional pain becomes unbearable, resulting in changes in how you view yourself and the world. Sometimes you just need someone to listen and help you to see things more clearly.
I will be by your side to help you develop and reach your goals. If you choose me to help with your relationships, I will provide professional, confidential care in a welcoming environment. The therapeutic experience will involve talking, listening, and education about your unique issues.
